  • Hands down the best Thai restaurant in Manhattan! The flavors are truly authentic — confirmed by Thai people like me. I always come here with friends. It gets busy at dinner, so I usually come for lunch. My go-to dishes are papaya salad with raw crab, kor moo yang, mieng kana, and the whole red snapper with garlic. Everything is packed with bold, real Thai flavors. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. If you’re craving the real deal, this is the spot!

  • I always come here whenever I visit NYC. I highly recommend the Miang Kha Na (kale leaf wraps), the Yum Pla Dook Foo (crispy catfish salad), and the longan juice — all are so flavorful! If you can, try to come on a Sunday. I personally think the chef on Sundays makes the food even better — everything tastes extra delicious! The service is really nice too — friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better.

  • Wondee Siam is a medium-sized, clean, and busy spot with friendly staff. Most of the food was delicious, but the crispy pork basil (recommended by the server) was disappointing — it was chewy, dry, and hard to eat. Everything else was great, though, and I’d still recommend checking it out.

  • No-frills tasty Thai food, quick and friendly service at an affordable price. Recommend visiting with a group as portion sizes are large. Papaya salad, tom kha goong (creamy coconut soup with shrimp) and duck gra prow (basil stir fry duck) were great. Good selection of drinks, including refreshing Thai iced tea to wash down the heat.

  • Excellent Thai food at a reasonable price We stopped by Wondee Siam in Manhattan for a family lunch twice in August 2025. On both visits, the food was consistently excellent - flavorful, fresh, and well-presented. We hope to return next time we are in the area. Food ordered Tom Kha Gai (Coconut milk Soup with Chicken) - excellent! Papaya Salad - refreshing Thai Salad - very plain; unmixed vegetables, passable. Red Curry with Chicken - delicious! Pad Thai - excellent Pad Woon Sen (Glass Noodles with Beef) - tasted delicious, with a sauce that added an interesting touch. The beef was a little chewy though. Beef with Cashew Nuts and Vegetables - very fresh, but could use a bit more spices for richer flavor. Chives Pancakes - a bit too oily and overly fried on the outside, yet slightly undercooked inside. Duck Panang Curry - perfect. Richer in flavor than the Red Curry, with tender and juicy duck having a crispy crust. The dish was loaded with pineapple, making it slightly on the sweeter side. Pad See Ew with Chicken - excellent. Soft, silky noodles paired with tender, flavorful chicken.

  • It just felt like home. I dined at this gem of a restaurant 3 times in one week! Directly across from where I was visiting, I was so fortunate to be close enough for a scrumptious meal. The crew is so hospitable and they are family! A family that welcomes you as soon as you enter their home. Christmas is coming and this time, I am bringing friends to savor in a Thai Christmas!

  • A true gem when we needed it most. I’ve always believed that everything happens for a reason, and this restaurant proved exactly that. We stumbled upon it at just the right moment, and it turned out to be an absolute blessing. The food, drinks, service, and ambience were all exceptional — truly a 10,000,000/10 experience. Every dish we ordered was delicious, and the portion sizes were more than worth the price. I would recommend this place again and again without hesitation.

  • First time here comes highly recommend by a lot of people. Personally I think we might have not ordered the best dishes - the noodle dish was prob my favorite. The papaya salad seemed tamed down for the western palate but still enjoyable. The staff are amazing. Helpful and attentive. Everything was nice. I just need to go back and try other dishes Was able to get a seat quite easily
